Built for the parish, not the shelf

The Funeral Pall Stand is an original Randall Creations design — developed from the ground up to serve Catholic and Christian funeral liturgies. Nothing about it was adapted from an existing product or spec. Every dimension, every joint, every hardware choice was made with the function in mind: holding a funeral pall with dignity in a real parish setting.

Artisan Mike Randolph builds each piece by hand. The octagonal base gives stability without bulk. Casters let clergy move the stand quietly and precisely into position. The column panel and brass hardware carry the weight of a liturgical object — this isn't furniture that blends in; it belongs in the sanctuary.

Sapele is a rich, durable hardwood prized for its deep reddish-brown color, fine grain, and elegant ribbon-like patterns. Often compared to mahogany, it offers both beauty and strength, making it a favorite for fine furniture, cabinetry, flooring, and musical instruments. The stand shown is built in Sapele with a hand-rubbed finish that brings out the wood's natural depth and warmth.

Octagonal Base

Wide footprint for stability. Solid wood construction. Built to handle the weight of a full funeral pall without flex or wobble.

Casters for Positioning

Move the stand quietly and precisely. Locks in place when positioned. No lifting required.

Inlaid Column Panel

Decorative panel detail on the pedestal column. The kind of finish detail you don't find on commercial liturgical furniture.

Brass Hardware

Warm tone that complements wood finishes and liturgical textiles. Durable — it will outlast the finish on any off-the-shelf piece.
